    THIS IS CUT FROM A 6 FOOT LONG LENGTH OF ROD.
    THE SAW BLADE IS 1/8" THICK. THEREFORE 1/8" OF MATERIAL IS LOST DURING THE CUTTING PROCESS.
    Providing 11 7/8" long rods minimizes waste
    As you can see from the picture the rod is SOLID OPAQUE with no light transmission.
