    Description

For auction is a wonderful vase made by "Saturday Evening Girls" (SEG) Pottery Company" of Boston, Mass. This vase measures 3 15/16" tall and is 2 1/2" in square at the base. The top measures 2 1/8" square outside measurements.
This vase displays a tapered geometric form form with raised and slightly flaring top lip. It has a fairly wide square mouth or opening to receive flowers for its size. The vase is done in a beautiful semi-gloss green glaze. This is not a common form from SEG as I don't recall ever seeing or having another one in my 48 years as a collector and dealer.
The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks or chips. The vase is signed on the underside bottom with the black ink stamp "SEG 7-21  EG". This piece was made by Edith Guerrier
and it was made in July of 1921. This is a quality piece of art pottery in a not so common glaze color and shape.  I'm quite sure the buyer will be well pleased with their purchase. This piece was made circa 1921.
    PLEASE READ BELOW
I want to apologize for slowing down my shipping time. Ebay forced me into managed payments in July of this year 2020.
I used to get my money in 24 hours. I now get it in 3-4 business days. I was told it would be better for me and my fees would go down. This has been the opposite as my fees have actually increased and now it takes longer for me to receive the payments
. Because of this slowdown I will not ship until the payment has made it into my bank account. No store lets you out of the building with the
    merchandise
    unless it is paid for.
    They are also n
ow charging all sellers a commission of 11.7% on sales tax. Pay Pal used to charge 2.9% payment processing fee but Ebay has changed this to 11.7%. This is an increase of 8.8% on the sales tax portion. They are now making a profit on the sales tax and treating it as a sale which in my eyes is wrong!! They did the same on the shipping charges several years ago. They use to not charge anything and now they are charging 11.7% commission on shipping as well. This has raised the cost to ship items to you, the buyer and this is factored into my shipping charges.
If you feel what Ebay is doing is wrong or you don't agree them please contact Ebay and voice your opinion. Maybe if enough of you do this, they will change their policy.
